1854 Presents hosts free virtual artist talks, Q&As, panel discussions and more with leading international figures in contemporary photography. On the 21st May, 1854 Presents welcomed Jason Koxvold to discuss representations of power – both economic and military – throughout his oeuvre: from where he began with Everything, and Nothing (unpublished) to his subsequent monographs Knives, You Were Right All Along, and Calle Tredici Martiri, as well as Theatre of War (work in progress).

Jason Koxvold is a British artist and director working across photography, interactive media and film, and the founder of Gnomic Book. His practice focuses on the shared spaces between neoliberal economic policy and military strategy.
